In 2023, #CA Governor Newsom, Legislators, and more than 5,000 organizations and individuals endorsed and mobilized for the passage of AB414.
This landmark legislation makes #California the first in the nation to establish the $DigitalEquity Bill of Rights, based on 10 principles to ensure that broadband is sufficient, equitable, affordable, reliable and ubiquitous for all Californians.
Californians should have the right to reliable, robust, and affordable Internet access. Digital access is a 21st Century Civil Right.
