MBC Awareness Day is October 13. As a #KomenAdvocacy Ambassador, I am turning Awareness into Action for the #MBC community this month. The estimated 168,000 patients living with metastatic #breastcancer in the US need our action. Under current law, these patients must wait 29-months for Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare benefits. That wait is too long for these patients to wait for the care and support they need. The MBC Access to Care Act would end these waiting periods.
