"I was selling to schools and health care--my background is nutrition and dietetics. So I came out as a sales rep and then, probably nine years into my career in sales selling to school districts, I crossed over to the district. I started consulting with districts--that was around the time that we had lots of federal regulations around wellness and food safety. So I did help districts develop their food safety plans and their wellness plans, and then I became a director. I've been in this business total for about 22 years."
