🎉 May is Older Californians Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions older Californians have made and are currently making to our state. California is home to more than six million older adults and by 2030, one quarter of California’s population will be older adults. The demographic shift means the services California offers must evolve to meet changing needs.
This year’s Older Californians Month theme is “AskCA.” Join CDA as we highlight a variety of state departments that offer programs or services for older adults, as well as the range of programs available through the 33 local Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) throughout California. Explore this Aging Services Kit and encourage people to #AskCA when searching for aging resources.
