Fistula Foundation Treatment Network in Tanzania

Fistula Foundation Treatment Network in Tanzania

In July of 2023, Fistula Foundation launched the Fistula Foundation Treatment Network (FFTN) in Tanzania—their fourth countrywide treatment network—to advance our vision to end the suffering caused by fistula. The goal of each FFTN is to reduce and ultimately eliminate the wait for treatment by connecting all women in all parts of a country with timely, high-quality care. Here’s the impact so far: 🧡 1,250+ surgeries provided to women 🧑🏽‍⚕️ 10 surgeons trained in fistula management 👩🏾‍⚕️ 86 nurses trained in fistula management 🇹🇿 1 community outreach partner added to the network This year, their five hospital partners within the FFTN in Tanzania aim to provide more than 1,400 surgeries for women in need across all regions of the country, but they need your support to continue their vital work. For a limited time, all contributions—up to a total of $100,000—will be MATCHED to support surgeries for women across the FFTN in Tanzania. Visit https://fistu.la/SEP2024 to donate today.
