There are new rules and fines in place for feeding crocodiles including unintentional feeding.  It’s now an offence to leave food—including fish frames, food scraps and bait—in a public place like a boat ramp, jetty or a camping area or park where there are crocodiles in the vicinity.  Crocodiles are attracted by an easy meal. Food left in these areas encourages them to loiter around, putting everyone at risk.   Always put your food and fish scraps in a bin or take them home.   Fines may apply if you don’t.   Always Be Crocwise in Croc Country.
