Family Engagement Month
This month we’re celebrating one of the pillars of our work—family engagement. We know that families are a child’s first teachers and nurturers, and we work hard to remove barriers that may prevent caregivers from staying central in their child’s education. From working with teachers to offer parent teacher nights, to creating family support groups, our site coordinators work tirelessly to meet caregivers where they are and build trusting relationships between families and schools. This helps support a healthy school environment where students AND families feel safe and welcome. We look forward to continuing to empower parents and guardians, providing valuable resources to families, and making education a shared journey!
