Active involvement of the community in developing solutions to local health problems increases local buy-in, leading to better outcomes for everyone. We've seen that first hand in Mozambique with @VillageReach’s Bate-Papo Vacina! (Let’s Talk About Vaccines!), which increases demand for routine childhood immunization services and reduces drop-out rates for children under two, by engaging with communities to address the barriers caregivers face in vaccination their children.
