I stand in solidarity with fasting tourism workers! Right now, tourism workers are making the collective sacrifice to fast for 3 days ahead of L.A. City Council’s vote on the Olympic Wage on Dec 11. They’re taking action to shed light on the urgency of raising the wage so they can feed their families and make sure they are healthy and housed
On December 11th Los Angeles City Council members will have the opportunity to vote on policy language to draft a strong ordinance. Workers are already struggling to afford basic necessities – they need an Olympic Wage NOW!
