Sí se pudo! Last week, the Los Angeles City Council voted 12-3 to approve an Olympic Wage for tourism workers!
This is a historic victory -- It will be the highest living wage in the nation!
Under this ordinance workers will receive $30.00/hr by July 1st 2028 and receive a health payment of $8.35/hr by July 1st 2025 increasing yearly with the cost of healthcare.
Thank you to the council members who voted yes and stood with tourism workers!
