Do you remember Judson “Jake” Ward 33C 36G? Not only was he the former Dean of Alumni (a title which was retired after his death), Dean Ward was known for his good cheer, his kind heart and his generous spirit. <div><br></div><div>For more than eighty years, Mr. Ward gave his all to Emory---as a student, as an administrator, and as an alumni. He served all over campus--- in schools, with projects and sometimes just showing up in support. </div><div><br></div><div>Overall, Dean Ward was a wonderful embodiment of so much that is good about Emory. </div><div><br></div><div>Do you know someone like that? If you do, let us know. Are you that person? Let us know.We’re accepting nominations for Dean Ward’s namesake award, The Jake’s Golden Heart Award. </div><div><br></div><div>The criteria are simple: the winner must have a kind and generous heart and have graduated from Emory before 1968.</div><div><br><div>The nominations are due soon.
