Ken Harbaugh is a former Navy pilot and an Ohioan who has made public service his life’s work. He grew up in a military family, the son and grandson of Air Force combat pilots. When it was his turn, Ken joined the Navy where he flew reconnaissance missions in the Middle East and off of North Korea. Following his naval service, he earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and co-founded The Mission Continues, a nonprofit that empowers military men and women to keep serving in their communities. Ken is also a former President of Team Rubicon Global, a disaster relief organization that has helped train over 45,000 veterans to deploy in emergency response teams around the world.
Ken is a public servant who believes in country over party, service above self, and opportunity for all. And as a military vet, Ken is uniquely positioned to enter the fray. He is fearless, cool-headed in a crisis, and has earned the respect of leaders on both sides of the aisle.
