In 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa, more than 1,000 stakeholders from around the world will come together to accelerate solutions to improve maternal and newborn survival and prevent stillbirths.
Together, a coordinated and inclusive approach will serve to implement stronger data-driven, evidence-based and respectful health care for mother and baby, particularly in low-resource settings. By nurturing collaborative relationships, sharing learning and effective implementation experiences, and aligning our approach and metrics, together, we will embrace a healthy and equitable future in which mothers and newborns not only survive but thrive.
