Free resources to secure the global medical product supply chain
Description
As the medical products industry has become more globalized and specialized, substandard and falsified (S&F) medical products pose a growing public health threat to patients and communities worldwide. Securing the pharmaceutical supply chain is a complex, global challenge that requires concerted collaboration and coordination among supply chain stakeholders.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) led a collaboration within Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies and other global stakeholders, including the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), in response to this pressing issue. This multi-year effort resulted in the development of the APEC Supply Chain Security Toolkit. The toolkit provides resources and best practices to help prevent, detect and respond to vulnerabilities across the medical product supply chain and lifecycle—from raw materials to patient use.

Here's how you can share this news with APEC member and non-member economies working in the medical product supply chain to help ensure awareness and benefit of these resources:
