In a recent survey, almost 90% of arthritis patients said they have pain that interferes with their daily lives and activities. Your support of the @arthritisfoundation enables us to provide resources, education and connections to improve the lives of everyone living with this progressive disease.

And, this is devastating. Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis by far, affecting more than 32 million people in the U.S. With your support of the @arthritisfoundation, we can increase our investment into promising research that will fund advancements in treatment for OA.

New patients in areas with fewer than 50,000 residents are waiting as long as a year in pain and worsening disease to even see a rheumatologist. Your support of the @arthritisfoundation enables us to increase the number of rheumatologists through our workforce development and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) fellowships.
#WeLiveYes #ArthritisFoundation
Through years of research, we now know that pediatric patients cannot effectively be treated like small adults — they have unique needs. Through the @arthritisfoundation's partnership with CARRA, we are investigating new and better therapies for many types of childhood arthritis. Your donation will allow the Arthritis Foundation to fund more research into ways to treat and prevent juvenile arthritis.

Your registration matters to people like 5-year-old Sammy, who was diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA). Sammy’s family was challenged by the diagnosis, and many complications arose, resulting in multiple hospital visits and a two-month-long hospital stay. Those unexpected moments made life much harder and encouraged Sammy’s family to look for a community of people who shared Sammy’s rare condition. They wanted to live a less isolating life.
Since starting their team in 2022, Sammy’s SJIA Super Squad has raised over $52,000. With the help of various treatments, Sammy and her family are able to create joyful moments and raise awareness about what life with arthritis really looks like.
Sammy was selected as one of the national honorees for Walk to Cure Arthritis in 2024. The Arthritis Foundation recently invested more than $4 million in juvenile arthritis programs to help kids and teens like Sammy. This toolkit is for Arthritis Foundation team members, volunteers and advocates to share on their personal social profiles about Arthritis@Work.
While there are posts for multiple social platforms, we recommend posting to your LinkedIn page or whatever platform you engage most with corporate sponsors and volunteers.
It is best to post two to three times a month specifically about Arthritis@Work. In between posts about this program, be sure to share other Arthritis Foundation content to show our impact and increase awareness of our cause, which will further illustrate the need for programs like Arthritis@Work.
