Vanesa, the group’s facilitator, invites you to participate from around the country for support, education, robust programming, expert speakers and the opportunity to meet others who understand children who are going through this stage in life.
Support groups like this one are where parents and caregivers can learn about a variety of topics and engage in fun group activities around raising a child with a rheumatic condition from volunteers and guest experts. During these sessions, participants gain knowledge to advocate for their child, as well as help their child develop self-management skills and explore strategies to improve daily living.
