The CAEP Summit 2026 brings together educators, administrators, coordinators, and support staff across California to strengthen adult education through collaboration and innovation.
Taking place October 27-30, 2026, this three-day event will feature keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities guided by this year's theme, Advancing Adult Learners: Access, Opportunity, and Success. The Summit highlights strategies to expand access, close equity gaps, and support adult learners in achieving their goals—co-hosted by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, the California Department of Education, the Sacramento County Office of Education, and North Orange Continuing Education.

About the Summit
The California Community Colleges Digital Center for Innovation, Transformation, and Equity, an initiative of the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, operated with principal partner, Foothill-De-Anza Community College District, will present Futures Summit 2027, its fourth year, carrying forward the momentum of past Summits to further advance innovation and expand access for students and communities.
The Futures Summit brings together educators, leaders, and partners committed to expanding access and fostering innovation across the California Community Colleges. Each year, the event provides space for collaboration, dialogue, and shared solutions that move the system forward.
