California's health care consumer advocacy coalition, fighting for more quality, equitable, and affordable health care for ALL Californians.
🚨@Cagovernor's proposed budget is a huge blow to CA's efforts towards universal health coverage, a goal he once lauded. We are calling on state legislators to REJECT these cuts. Our system is stronger when everyone is covered; an attack on one is an attack on us all! #Health4All
🚨El presupuesto que propone @Cagovernor es un gran golpe a los esfuerzos de California por lograr cobertura universal de salud, una meta que él mismo antes aplaudía. Estamos llamando a los legisladores estatales a RECHAZAR estos recortes. #Health4All
CA’s health care delivery system is stronger & more stable when everyone is covered & healthy - regardless of their immigration status. Without access to preventative care, overburdened ERs get busier with cases that could have been treated in a doctor’s office. #Health4ALL
El sistema de salud de CA es más fuerte y estable cuando todas y todos tienen cobertura - sin importar su estatus migratorio. Sin cuidado preventivo, las salas de emergencia se llenan con casos que podrían haberse atendido en un consultorio médico. #Health4All #SaludParaTodxs
More than 1 in 6 CA kids has an undocumented parent. #Health4All uplifts CA’s diverse families, including those with mixed statuses. When we keep parents and caregivers healthy, we strengthen and support entire families and communities. We need Medi-Cal for ALL Californians.

LGBTQ+ and health advocates strongly condemn Trump’s dangerous Executive Order restricting gender-affirming care for trans youth. If enacted, this extreme policy could harm tens of thousands of trans young people in California alone.
Trans youth deserve care, dignity, and the right to thrive. We won’t stand by as their health and futures are attacked.

The CA LGBTQ HHS Network’s LBTQ Health Equity Initiative is working to close data gaps that have long erased LBTQ+ people from public health conversations. 📣 PRIDE IS PROTEST — TAKE ACTION NOW 🏳️🌈
Pride Month just began, but instead of celebrating, we’re fighting for the survival of critical LGBTQ+ health equity programs. Governor Newsom’s May Budget Revision proposes over $40 MILLION in cuts to the Office of Health Equity, threatening:
❌ The California Reducing Disparities Project (CRDP)
❌ The Reproductive Justice Fund
❌ Gender Health Equity Section (GHES) programs serving LBTQ+ women, TGI Californians, and LGBTQ+ youth of color and rural youth
These programs are already in motion and saving lives. Cutting them midstream erases the community trust, support, and healing we’ve worked hard to build.
This Pride Month, show up for your community.
📞 Here’s how to take action:
1. Go to findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov to find your State Assembly + Senate reps
2. Call or email using our sample script (link in bio!)
3. Download & share a graphic from our social media toolkit
4. Ask your community to do the same — voices matter
5. Tag legislative leaders and budget chairs to demand they stop the cuts and fund health equity.
💬 Tell your legislators:
Restore funding. Defend health equity. Our lives are not negotiable.
