Wound closure is often called the final step of surgery — but it’s truly the first step of recovery. Listen to the innovation behind our wound‑closure solutions and hear a fellow @Johnson & Johnson family’s real experience: a severe scoliosis diagnosis on vacation, spinal fusion, and a recovery focused on limiting infection and restoring independence. Patients’ first questions after surgery are often: How long is recovery? Will I be able to keep doing the things I love? As field partners working alongside clinicians, we see how the right wound‑closure approach can materially change those patient journeys. Check out the episode below and share your thoughts below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBwqyKGafJY #InsidetheBlueprint #WoundClosure #MedTech

Wound closure is often framed as the final step of surgery, but it is one of the first determinants of long‑term recovery. This Inside the Blueprint episode follows a @Johnson & Johnson family confronting a sudden scoliosis diagnosis, spinal fusion, and a recovery where wound‑closure choices supported infection prevention, cosmesis, and a faster return to normal life. It’s a clear example of how engineering, clinical evidence, and bedside practice must converge to improve patient outcomes.
