As a civic holiday that is first and foremost a celebration of all things democracy, the reach of National Voter Registration Day really depends each year on massive outpouring of celebratory, creative, and engaging online communication. With every relatable meme, eye-catching story, and informational post, we make our efforts to 1) build up anticipation for the holiday and 2) keep American voters informed and prepared to participate in the November elections that much more effective.
To make it easy and fun to lend a digital hand, we’ve put together this Social Media Toolkit: a one-stop hub for memes, sample social media posts, holiday graphics, key dates, resources, and more.
Use these posts or take them as a jumping off point to make your own. There are as many ways to celebrate the holiday as there are partners and we love to see what you come up with—just remember to tag us @NatlVoterRegDay and use the hashtags #NationalVoterRegistrationDay and #VoteReady!
