On August 23, 2025, Park Protectors across the country will come together for a powerful Day of Action: a national moment to show love for our parks and demand accountability for the devastating impacts threatening them. From community events and roundtable discussions to online engagement, we’ll amplify the voices of people everywhere who refuse to stand by while funding cuts, staffing shortages, and harmful policies put our national parks at risk. Together, we’ll show the breadth, diversity, and strength of support for our parks — because protecting them is protecting our shared future.

Behind every national park are the dedicated staff who safeguard our history, protect our wildlife, and welcome millions of visitors each year. But with devastating staffing cuts and mounting challenges, these stewards of our parks need our support more than ever. The I Stand With Park Staff campaign is about showing appreciation and solidarity with the people who make our parks possible — and calling on Congress to provide the funding and resources they deserve.
