Recap Video
Our annual Tillman Honors gala in Chicago was a night to remember! This incredible event brought together over 400 supporters to celebrate our remarkable Tillman Scholars and raise essential funds for the Tillman Scholar Program. We also honored the NFL, the Cardinals, and TEKsystems, for their invaluable support, and Action Tank, a Tillman-Scholar-led organization, for their unwavering commitment to service and community betterment.
Special shout-out to our co-chairs, Marie Tillman Shenton and Joe Shenton, and the Svoboda family, for making this event possible, and Union League Club Chicago for hosting us.
Thanks to everyoneâs generous support, we are thrilled to report that we raised over $1M to support our Tillman Scholars!
Highlights from the night included:
-A group discussion with retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Israel Del Toro, NFL legend Jake Plummer, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and over 40 Tillman Scholars.
-A special VIP panel moderated by former NFL player Charles âPeanutâ Tillman, featuring stories from those who knew Pat best â Jake Plummer, Hall of Famer Aeneas Williams, former ASU athletic trainer Perry Edinger, and Benjamin Hill, Patâs childhood friend and a current PTF board member.
-A touching speech from our keynote speaker, 2020 Tillman Scholar Brad Snyder.
-An exciting paddle raise that generated over $300K.

Description
Help us spread the word about the 2025 Tillman Scholar application! The application to join the 2025 class of Tillman Scholars opens online on Dec. 1, 2024 at www.pattillmanfoundation.org/apply. Please share the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram messaging below to educate active duty service members, veterans and military spouses about eligibility, benefits and expectations for the Tillman Scholars program, and encourage them to apply. The application will close at 11:59 p.m. PT on Feb. 1, 2025. Check back for resources to spread the word!

This yearâs theme, Legacy with Every Stride, reflects our commitment to honoring Pat Tillmanâs remarkable legacy and the impact he made during three pivotal eras of his life â as a Sun Devil, a Cardinal, and a Ranger. By participating, youâll not only pay tribute to Pat but also help create meaningful change in the lives of our nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars.

Thanks to everyoneâs generous support, we are thrilled to report that we raised over $1M to support our Tillman Scholars!
Highlights from the night included:
-A group discussion with retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Israel Del Toro, NFL legend Jake Plummer, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and over 40 Tillman Scholars.
-A special VIP panel moderated by former NFL player Charles âPeanutâ Tillman, featuring stories from those who knew Pat best â Jake Plummer, Hall of Famer Aeneas Williams, former ASU athletic trainer Perry Edinger, and Benjamin Hill, Patâs childhood friend and a current PTF board member.
-A touching speech from our keynote speaker, 2020 Tillman Scholar Brad Snyder.
-An exciting paddle raise that generated over $300K.

Our annual Tillman Honors gala in Chicago was a night to remember! This incredible event brought together over 400 supporters to celebrate our remarkable Tillman Scholars and raise essential funds for the Tillman Scholar Program. We also honored the NFL, the Cardinals, and TEKsystems, for their invaluable support, and Action Tank, a Tillman-Scholar-led organization, for their unwavering commitment to service and community betterment.
