These resources were developed to support states in recruiting new members to their Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC) under the Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services final rule. These materials may be used to educate potential members about the BAC and encourage their participation. IMPORTANT: Pending legal challenge to the ACA DACA health coverage rule. A group of 15 state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services seeking to overturn the final rule. Despite the legal challenge, no decision has been made in the case, and as such, the policy went into effect on November 1, 2024.

These resources have been developed to support states during the annual Marketplace open enrollment period. States may use the template messages and social media posts to communicate Marketplace enrollment opportunities to consumers.

These materials may be used to encourage consumers to complete their renewal forms, update their contact information, discover options for mixed eligibility households, and avoid scams.

These resources may be used by states to communicate Marketplace coverage options to individuals who have recently lost Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) coverage. The social media posts can be customized with State-Based Marketplace names, income levels, phone numbers, and website URLs to reach enrollees about alternative coverage options.
