Social Divisiveness & Civic Ed (White 1:1 Swipe)
The latest @AmericasPromise #StateofYoungPeople research report reinforces what many of us have been warning about--and working to mitigate--for a long time. Too many young people see and feel social divisions in society and are mistrustful of the American political system.
📌 Approximately seven in 10 young people (69%) feel that the nation is more divided than ever
📌 Just one in four (23%) trust adults in their own community
📌 And just one in five (19%) believe society is headed toward a better future.
Amid all of this, young people are making it clear that they WANT access to civic education and engagement opportunities, but few have frequent opportunities to do so, even outside of school.
Nine in 10 young people (91%) believe that everyone should have access to civic education however, just four in 10 (43%) young people feel even somewhat prepared, based on their civic education experiences, to participate civically.
Now more than ever, it's critical that we as [DESCRIBE YOUR ORG'S WORK] come together to both promote policies and practices that build community and heal divides while investing in and promoting civic education and engagement opportunities in and out of school.

AI (White 1:1 Swipe)
New research from @AmericasPromiseAlliance offers new insights on AI through the eyes of young people.
The big takeaways?
📌 Young people are not universally convinced of the benefits of AI and are divided about whether AI should be allowed in schools.
📌 Only three in 10 young people think AI will improve their lives (31%), whereas nearly two-thirds (64%) believe that the misuse of AI could result in substantial risk to humanity.
📌 Further, few young people appear to be early adopters of AI: only about three in 10 (31%) report using AI once a week or more and few are confident that their teachers know how to use AI effectively to support their learning (32%).
As AI usage grows, it's critical that we as [DESCRIBE YOUR ORG'S WORK] come together to both advocate for increased AI policy guidelines while providing direct support to teachers, schools, and the young people we serve as they navigate the influence of AI on student learning.

Mental Health (White 1:1 Swipe)
Just released: new research from @AmericasPromise Alliance
As an organization [INCORPORATE LANGUAGE ABOUT YOUR OWN ORG'S MISSION], we know firsthand the challenges young people face today when it comes to accessing mental health support and services.
The State of Young People research, co-created by Alliance member orgs [INCLUDING OURS, IF APPLICABLE) and 1,500 young people, not only highlights the growing need for expanded mental health support in schools and communities, but the high number of youth who are actively seeking services and advocating for increased access to mental health providers.
As [DESCRIBE YOUR ORG'S APPROACH & OFFERING], it’s up to us identify and implement solutions that meet today's young people where they are. We're grateful to be collaborating with so many like-minded peers across the @AmericasPromiseAlliance community in doing just that.
