Combat Dog Diesel, like all working dogs before and after him, are an integral part in the success of every mission. He did everything that was asked from him, without any hesitation. On one such mission, Combat Dog Diesel took an AK-47 round to the chest. After significant rehab, Diesel returned to support his crew on several more combat deployments. With your donations, Diesel was able to retire and live a good life after war. Medical procedures are one of the most costly expenses for Combat Dogs after they retire. K9 Piper lived every day to the fullest. Even with a foot of snow on the runway, he showed up, tongue out and ready for anything. His main function was to increase safety by responding to reports of wildlife and conducting regular patrols. Snowy owls and foxes never stood a chance on the runway.

In order to keep the runways safe, K9 Piper had the essential kit to help him do his job. Without these items he could not complete his mission and keep the runways clear.
