Valdir, an illegal logger is an important part of our film. Our film aims to shed light on the remarkable role played by Indigenous forest guardians in protecting the Amazon Rainforest. However, we recognize the significance of presenting a balanced perspective, steering clear of further polarization. In many environmental films, loggers are often portrayed as the villains. Yet, to truly combat logging and the destruction caused by agriculture, we must have compassion and seek solutions for those relying on these industries for survival. By showcasing both sides of the issue, we hope to foster a more nuanced understanding and encourage constructive dialogue towards sustainable solutions.
“Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion. And love.”

E amor."
— Jane Goodall
