Australia has the highest rate of deforestation in the developed world, with a tree being bulldozed every second. Now is the time to turn this around.
We plan to take Australia from a deforestation hotspot to a leader in tree protection and restoration to benefit our health, communities, climate, wildlife, and planet.
WWF-Australia’s Trees Scorecard presents a snapshot of how the country’s federal, state and territory governments are performing in protecting and restoring trees, and there's plenty of opportunities for us to do better.
Now is the time to take action.
Australia can become a beacon of hope for the world - a nation that not only protects and preserves its trees but also leads the way in sustainable tree management and conservation. But to get there, we need your help.
If you haven't yet, sign the petition and show your support to save our trees and our future and share some of our campaign material to your channels.
Where possible, please share posts from WWF-Australia's social media channels.
